Geoffrey M. Millican, MD
Sports Medicine Doctor
A native Texan, Dr. Geoffrey M. Millican graduated from Texas Christian University where he majored in biology. He earned his medical degree with magna cum laude honors from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he also completed his orthopedic surgery residency in 2005.
Dr. Millican then pursued fellowship training in orthopedic sports medicine and arthroscopy at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama. As a sports medicine specialist, Dr. Millican offers the latest surgical techniques and treatment options. He regularly performs knee replacements, hip replacements, shoulder replacements, and arthroscopy.
Dr. Millican is a member of various orthopedic organizations including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America, and Alamo Orthopaedic Society. He has also served as Chairman of Orthopaedics at St. Luke’s Baptist Hospital (2013-2017) and on various medical committees. In addition, he was a team physician for the Tarrant County Thunder baseball team and the Texas Brahmas minor league hockey team.
